2024 Highlights: Memorable Moments and Menus from First Class Catering

As we reflect on an incredible year, we’re proud to share some of the amazing events we had the honor of catering in 2024. From stunning weddings to multi-day celebrations, we brought unforgettable flavors and flawless service to every occasion. Here are some highlights that showcase the creativity, adaptability, and dedication of the First Class Catering team.

May 26, 2024 – Elizabeth and Josh’s Wedding at Far Event Center

Elizabeth and Josh celebrated their big day with a plated taco menu that was as unique as their love story. The bride’s request for an entirely gluten-free menu inspired us to craft flavorful dishes that delighted every guest.

Menu Highlights:

  • First Course: Tajín Pineapple Salad

  • Taco Options:

    • Sweet Potato Taco with Red Cabbage Slaw and Cilantro Lime Aioli

    • Short Rib Taco with Pickled Red Onion, Radish, and Cilantro

    • Grilled Chicken Taco with Pico de Gallo, Lime Crema, and Chihuahua Cheese

  • Sides: Cilantro Lime Rice and Roasted Black Beans

Every dish was carefully curated to accommodate dietary needs while ensuring bold, unforgettable flavors.

June 21, 2024 – Abbi & Neil’s Wedding at Indy Arts Center

Abbi’s outdoor wedding coincided with the hottest week of the year, but our team seamlessly adapted to ensure all guests were comfortable. Dinner service was moved indoors, and the plated meal left guests raving.

Menu Choices:

  • Roast Chicken over Bacon and Pea Gnocchi in Cream Sauce

  • Vegetable Green Curry with Tofu over Jasmine Rice

  • Crispy Duck with Lemongrass Rice and Cold Asparagus

Dessert and Drinks:
After dinner, each guest enjoyed an elegant Affogato dessert served tableside, followed by a refreshing Blood Orange Spritzer Mocktail during toasts.

November 15–16, 2024 – Aly and Komal’s Multi-Day Wedding Celebration

This vibrant, multi-day wedding was a showcase of cultural fusion and culinary creativity.

Day 1 – Vision Loft Stutz (Stations Dinner):
Guests explored an array of stations celebrating the brides’ diverse heritages, including:

  • Indian Cuisine (Stations 1 & 2)

  • Mediterranean Fare (Station 3)

  • Build-Your-Own Nacho Bar (Station 4)

  • Assorted Desserts (Station 5)

Day 2 – Conservatory at Evergreen (Lunch & Dinner):
Lunch featured an Indian Buffet and a Live Pasta Station.

Dinner offered plated options, blending global inspiration with bold flavors:

  • Entrée Choices:

    • Paneer Tikka Masala or Chicken Saag with Dal Fry and Cumin Rice

    • Ratatouille Tower or Chicken Thighs with Grapes & Fennel served with Red Skinned Mashed Potatoes and Six-Cheese Mac & Cheese

  • Family-Style Additions: Papad, Naan, and Chickpea Salad

Each meal was an immersive experience, designed to honor the brides’ heritage and delight their guests.
